Posted: August 12th, 2011 Volunteering Opportunities
Due to expansion in our existing services and the development of new ones we are looking to recruit new personnel to join our existing team of 90 valued volunteers. We have opportunities in many different areas such as:
Appropriate Adults
Money Advice
Mentoring Young People
Advocacy and Independent Visiting for Looked after Children and Young People
Mentoring and Support for Adults
We run an extensive training programme which will is held 3 times a year, the next being early 2012 (evenings and weekends) and when completed you will have the option to obtain an accredited qualification through National Open College Network. Each role is different, as is each of our Service Users. All we ask for is your commitment to a minimum amount of hours per week, ranging from 3hrs to 10 hrs, weekdays, evenings or weekends depending on the project.
